Privacy Policy

Velrixa Connect (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our mobile application and related services.

Last updated: 2026-04-10  ·  Contact: service@velrixaconnect.com

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to users of the Velrixa Connect app and visitors who access our public web pages (for example, this policy and configuration or demo content served from velrixaconnect.com).

2. Information we do not collect on our servers

We do not use our own servers to store your private conversations, call recordings, one-to-one message content, or your photo library. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

3. Data processed on your device

Some features work locally on your phone (for example, UI state and preferences stored with the operating system’s storage APIs). Uninstalling the app removes app-local data subject to your device behaviour.

4. Permissions (Android / iOS)

The app may request access that the system controls, such as:

You can grant or revoke permissions in your device settings.

5. Third-party services (real-time communication)

Video and audio calling, and related signalling, may be provided by ZEGOCLOUD (or other providers we integrate). When you use those features, data necessary to establish and maintain sessions is processed according to that provider’s policies. We recommend reviewing ZEGOCLOUD’s privacy documentation on their official site.

6. Analytics and attribution (AppsFlyer)

We use AppsFlyer (appsflyer.com), a mobile measurement partner, to understand how users discover our app and to measure installs, sessions, in-app events, and the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

When the AppsFlyer SDK is active in the app, AppsFlyer may collect or receive technical data such as:

This processing is described in more detail in AppsFlyer’s privacy policy. AppsFlyer processes data as described there and in our agreements with them. We use this information for analytics and advertising or marketing measurement (for example, to attribute an install or in-app action to a campaign), not to sell your personal information.

If the app opens in-app web content (WebView), certain interactions may also be reported to AppsFlyer through our app integration, in line with how the app is built.

7. Our servers (gate / configuration API)

We operate backend endpoints on velrixaconnect.com (for example, authentication bootstrap, token issuance, and optional demo content). We may process:

Demo discovery content (such as sample profile cards) may be loaded from our API; it is illustrative and not intended to collect personal data about you.

8. Cookies and web content

If the app opens web pages (WebView), those sites may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International users

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the app, you understand that cross-border transfers may occur.

11. Changes and app updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.

We distribute app updates through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Installing an update may include new features, security fixes, or revised third-party SDK behaviour; this policy describes our practices at the time shown above.
